Two-time heavyweight champion Joshua Discharged from Medical Facility in Lagos Following Tragic Road Accident

The British boxer Anthony Joshua has left the medical facility, officials in Lagos announced on late Wednesday. The 36-year-old was caught in a vehicular crash outside Lagos on Monday, a tragic incident that resulted in the deaths of two of his valued colleagues.

Healing from Light Wounds

The sports star had been under observation while recovering from minor injuries, representatives confirmed on Monday. A government official, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post online that Joshua was judged healthy enough to leave and heal privately.

“The boxer and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to pay their final respects to his two departed friends as they were being readied to be sent home,” Omotosho said.

A Tribute to the Fallen

The two men who died were confirmed to be Latif Ayodele, Joshua's trainer, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. It was also noted that the champion was filled with sorrow and deeply emotional over the tragic loss of his two dear friends.”
