Barça Set to Play Historic Fixture at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday
The club confirmed they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit the Bilbao team in La Liga 30 months since relocating for construction to commence.
“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. Barça announced completed upgrades featured a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.
Stadium Testing
Barcelona held a fan-accessible workout at the Camp Nou in early November. They mentioned approval is being pursued from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side in December at Camp Nou. Previous fixtures took place at the Olympic Stadium.
