In a bizarre crossover event that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the formal release, "A mysterious meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of banned ceremonies and terrifying transformations echo through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine sect.

The questline focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Material

Players who finish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
